Born in 1980, Rose has spent her life dedicated to art. In 2003 she completed a BA (hons) degree in Illustration at the University of the West of England and currently works at the renowned Jamaica Street Studios. She has lived in Bristol for the last 8 years, originally growing up by the sea and influenced by the world around her. Through a variety of experiences she has built up many skills in drawing and painting, photography, print and model-making. Working with mixed media such as acrylics, ink and graphite, her interests span across a vast array of subject matter, exploring her love of bugs and strange creatures, the human anatomy, sea life and beauty in the seemingly ugly to name a few.
