Born in 1980, Rose has spent her life dedicated to art. In 2003 she completed a BA (hons) degree in Illustration at the University of the West of England and currently works at the renowned Jamaica Street Studios. She has lived in Bristol for the last 10 years, originally growing up by the sea and influenced by the world around her. Through a variety of experiences she has built up many skills in drawing and painting, photography, print and model-making. Working with mixed media such as acrylics, ink and graphite, her interests span across a vast array of subject matter, exploring her love of bugs and strange creatures, the human anatomy, sea life and beauty in the seemingly ugly to name a few.
